Welcome to Fledgelings, our happy and nurturing Reception class, where little learners take their first exciting steps into school life.

Fledgelings is a warm, friendly and welcoming classroom where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, valued and happy, and we work hard to create a caring environment where every child can flourish.

Our days are filled with play, exploration, stories, songs, creativity and lots of opportunities to discover the world around us. We encourage our Fledgelings to ask questions, try new things, make friends and develop a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their school journey.

Being part of our small village school means that our children are part of a close-knit and supportive school family. We love spending time outdoors, making the most of our wonderful surroundings and learning together as a whole school community.

Fledgelings is taught by Miss Taylor and Ms Powell, who are passionate about helping every child feel happy, confident and ready to learn.
