  • Safeguarding

At Clifton upon Teme Primary School, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

As a small village school, we know our children well and place strong relationships, care and belonging at the heart of school life. We want every child to feel safe, valued, listened to and confident to speak out when something is worrying them.

Our aim is to create a culture where children are supported to understand how to keep themselves and others safe, recognise when something does not feel right, and know that there will always be a trusted adult who will listen and help.

We believe that safeguarding is not simply a set of procedures — it is part of who we are. It is woven through our curriculum, our relationships, our pastoral care and our everyday interactions with children and families.

We are committed to being a school where every child matters, every voice is heard, and every child is cared for and protected, enabling them to grow in confidence, flourish and enjoy their childhood.

At Clifton upon Teme, we care, we listen, we notice and we act.
